Beautiful restaurant. The seating was fun with comfy chairs. The temperature was a little chilly at first, and without asking, the hostess went out of her way to offer me a blanket. The server welcomed us and got our drink and appetizer order in fast. The food came out shortly after. Overall-a great place for a lunch.
Their Shrimp Scampi pizza was very good, especially the garlic butter. Our waitress was very nice and informative about the menu. My family and I didn’t have to wait long for our food. Check this place out.
My experience at The Farmhouse Tuscan was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, my husband and I felt like our experience was their top priority. We had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, Rodney, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Seth took exceptional care of us from start to finish. The brunch buffet was a hit—so many delicious and healthy options to choose from. I truly enjoyed myself and look forward to returning.
Sunday Brunch for the win! The GM stopped my the table to check in on my customer experience and I couldn’t be happier with the food, service, and ambiance. I walked in to check the place out with some dressed-down athleisurewear and was welcomed with big emailed and a great attitude from the staff….I decided to stay once I smelled the delicious food. I sampled a bit of everything and was not disappointed at all. Might have to turn this into a weekly thing! Thank you Farmhouse!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant was beautiful with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Everything was very clean, and even the bathroom was exquisite with a beautiful Tuscan-style design. A special shout-out to our waiter Seth, who was very kind, attentive, and gave us great suggestions when we asked questions. His service really made the experience even better. We will definitely be back!
The restaurant and the staff were the best part of visiting. Their customer service was fantastic and I will certainly attend attend. Wthe marks on food are simply that food didkt really live up to my expectations or my wife's. I'm a huge mushroom fan and the sauteed mushrooms were just mediocre to me at least. I'll definitely visit again and try one more time.
We came in after visiting Mount Vernon. For context, we live in Las Vegas and based our experience on experiences there. To say we were happy and impressed is an understatement. We estimated way higher for cost of the meal than reality and we ordered two of the higher priced entrees, an additional pizza, their higher priced app, two drinks, and a dessert. Our favorite thing we had was the octopus hands down. My husband found the lamb a little salty, but he said it could have been the braising liquid. It had good flavor, but for his personal palette it was salty. I liked the crab alla vodka, but felt it could have had a tad bit more salt. Our sever, Alex, was attentive and left us alone, which we appreciate because we like to talk and not always engage in discussion with others. He was helpful with recommendations. We asked about two items and he gave us his honest opinion, which we appreciated. Overall though, he was very knowledgeable with the items on the menu and gave plenty of recommendations throughout. By the time we left, it was filled up and we could tell it was a staple in the community. We would make the drive back when visiting and would love to try more items.
The Farmhouse Tuscan is the most upscale restaurant we ever visited - food, restaurant, & service - in Alexandria, Virginia. You immediately get a sense of arrival upon entering the restaurant. The area near the entrance was heavily occupied, so we asked to be seated in the room where the bar was at the very back. It was quiet and isolated there. We were seated by the fireplace and immediately served. The ambience was cozy perfection & had plush immaculate seating. There was a choice of tables with chairs or couches & upholstered chairs with tables to dine & be served. The menu was very impressive. I asked for recommendations and was torn between what to select. I chose the Crab à la vodka with handmade pasta and ordered an Italian Wine White Flight: Pinot Grigio | Moscato | Vermentino. My husband selected a hand tossed pizza, the Holler pizza. We were very pleased with the food we ordered and tasted. It went beyond our highest expectations in ambience, service, and food. They do give military discount if you have military ID. The food was very plentiful, and we had the rest put in takeout containers. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars. It has been many years since a restaurant has highly impressed me as much as this restaurant has to such an extreme. Out of all the restaurants we went to in Alexandria, this is the restaurant I would choose to visit again for special occasions, entertaining guests, and date nights.
The Host and my waiter were excellent representations for the restaurant. They were both very helpful and answered all of my questions as a first time guest. My waiter gave me several suggestions for my meal which I plan to return to try. The restaurant was beautiful and the seating area was very comfy and cozy. I had the lasagna. It was very good, flavors were robust and very balanced (no heartburn was activated in the consuming of this meal) 😄 I've already told people to try it out.
The pasta was delicious, rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned without being overly salty. The customer service was outstanding from the moment I walked in until I left. I was warmly greeted at the door, and my server was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the menu. He took the time to explain his recommendations in detail, which I appreciated. The manager also stopped by to check on my meal, which added a personal touch to the dining experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with an elegant atmosphere, and the music complements the interior design perfectly. The restroom was clean and well maintained as well. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I will definitely be back.
